We will be getting together on 27th September 2018 to celebrate World Tourism Day. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet like-minded women, listen to their stories/challenges, and collectively come up with suggestions/solutions for making traveling in Pakistan more female friendly.
Luckily, the super awesome Alex from Lost With Purpose happens to be in town on this day, and she has agreed to join us for a meet and greet session! Yayyy!
Alex has traveled solo all over the world and is on her 4th trip to Pakistan right now. She will be talking about her experience of traveling solo in this country, and tell us what keeps bringing her back here again and again.
Aneeqa from The Mad Hatters will be talking about the challenges she has to face as a female to run a travel company in the male dominated travel industry of Pakistan, and how she has overcome some of these problems.
The agenda of this event is to talk about the problems existing in the travel industry of Pakistan that make traveling inconvenient for females, and what we can do to overcome these challenges for making this industry more inclusive for females.
Although, we will be discussing the problems faced by women, but men are also welcome to join to offer their input and support for this cause.
This wonderful cafe is being run by two very talented ladies, Hafsa and Anum, who will be sharing their experiences of traveling in Pakistan, as well as the challenges they have to face for running a business that requires them to be out and about in the public space.
